We open our season with the hit musical Thoroughly Modern Millie, which takes a humorous look at love, life, and international intrigue in 1920's New York. Millie Dilmount is a self-proclaimed "Modern" who will stop at nothing to achieve her goal of marrying well. Along the way she becomes involved with an outrageous assortment of characters including her pompous employer, a deranged innkeeper, two bumbling Chinese servants, and an eccentric millionairess. The score includes "Thoroughly Modern Millie," "Gimmie, Gimmie," and the hilarious "Speed Test." Audiences of all ages will enjoy this lighthearted romp through the Jazz Age.
